Where the Stilwell Road begins

Ledo, in Tinsukia district, is the starting point of the Ledo Road — the Stilwell Road — built during the Second World War as a supply route to China through Myanmar. Ledo station was the easternmost broad-gauge station in India as of 2005. The first coal mine in Assam started near Ledo in 1882, and the town is known for high-quality coal. Dibrugarh airport is about 78 km away. In the 2011 Census it was counted as Lido Town.

Wartime history and the far-east location draw a particular kind of visitor — history buffs and travellers heading to the border areas. Guest houses and guides who explain what there is to see, and how to get there, can reach them directly.

I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.

    Layouts and an interactive prototype you open on your own phone and laptop, then comment on before anything is built.

  3. Development

    Built on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded HTML and CSS, with on-page SEO in place and testing across phones, tablets and desktops.

  4. Launch & support

    The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.
