Chapakhowa, Assam

A town in the Sadiya sub-division

Chapakhowa’s municipal board places the town in the Sadiya sub-division of Tinsukia district, about 72 km north of Tinsukia and about 562 km from Dispur. National Highway 115 runs through the middle of town, the Kundil and Jiya rivers flow along its eastern side, and the town covers about 5 km². The board links the name to a Deori phrase. About 10,300 people lived there in 2011.

Distance from the district headquarters means people rely on what is available locally — and check before they go. A simple website for a shop, clinic or service saves customers a long trip when they can’t be sure you have what they need.

I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.
