Digboi’s refinery, run by IndianOil, was commissioned in 1901 and is one of the oldest operating refineries in the world. The town’s municipal board calls Digboi the “Oil City of Assam”, notes the 18-hole golf course of the Digboi Club, and records about 21,700 residents in the municipal area at the 2011 Census, with the separate Digboi Oil Town counted as a census town.
That mix — a large industrial employer, heritage visitors and a small municipal town — means local websites tend to fall into two groups: service businesses that need to look credible to an industrial client, and guest houses or homestays that need to be found and booked by visitors arriving from Dibrugarh or Tinsukia.

How a remote project runs
I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.
Discovery

Design review
Layouts and an interactive prototype you open on your own phone and laptop, then comment on before anything is built.
Development
Built on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded HTML and CSS, with on-page SEO in place and testing across phones, tablets and desktops.
Launch & support
The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.

Do you handle hosting and the domain name?
Deployment is part of the project. I recommend the domain and hosting are registered in your name so you own them, and the site can be kept running through monthly support.

Do you work with businesses in Assam remotely?
Yes. I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely: projects run over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review. There’s no office to visit, and every project is handled directly by me.

Yes — custom WordPress themes, custom post types and REST API work, as well as Elementor builds. If WordPress isn’t the right fit, I’ll build the site by hand or on Shopify.
