Sonai, Assam

A fast-growing town south of Silchar

Sonai’s municipal board describes a newly notified town of 11 wards in Cachar, about 16 km south of Silchar, with the Sonai river flowing through parts of the town. The population has grown from about 17,700 in 2011 to an estimated 27,100. Sonai has Madhab Chandra Das College, junior colleges, a circle office, a police station, a block public health centre and several sub-divisional offices; the nearest major station and Silchar airport are in and near Silchar.

A town growing this fast, with a degree college and government offices, keeps attracting people who need services and don’t know where to find them. Websites that answer those first questions quickly win those customers.

How a remote project runs

I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.

    Layouts and an interactive prototype you open on your own phone and laptop, then comment on before anything is built.

  4. Launch & support

    The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.
