The Barak Valley’s business and learning hub
Silchar is the headquarters of Cachar district, which the district administration calls “one of the most important business centres of Assam” and a major learning hub. Assam University, a central university, is at Durgakona about 18 km away, and Silchar Medical College and Hospital is described as the only medical college of southern Assam. The town has its own airport at Kumbhirgram, and its municipal board was upgraded to a municipal corporation by a 2024 gazette notification.
Education and healthcare bring a steady stream of students, patients and families who arrive from elsewhere and search before they decide. The district’s official language is Bengali, so a site in Bengali as well as English is often worth considering — it can be built to handle both, with you supplying or approving the Bengali text.

I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.

Design review
Layouts and an interactive prototype you open on your own phone and laptop, then comment on before anything is built.
Development
Built on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded HTML and CSS, with on-page SEO in place and testing across phones, tablets and desktops.
Launch & support
The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.

Before we start
Can my website be in Bengali and English?
Yes. The site can be built with both languages and a clear way to switch between them. I don’t write Bengali copy myself — you provide or approve the translations, and I make sure they display and are structured properly.
Do you cover Lakhipur and Sonai too?
Yes. Both are municipal towns in Cachar district, and projects there run exactly the same way. Lakhipur in Cachar is a different place from Lakhipur in Goalpara district.
Do you work with businesses in Assam remotely?
Yes. I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely: projects run over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review. There’s no office to visit, and every project is handled directly by me.
Can you build my website on WordPress?
Yes — custom WordPress themes, custom post types and REST API work, as well as Elementor builds. If WordPress isn’t the right fit, I’ll build the site by hand or on Shopify.
