Ramkrishnanagar, Assam

A hilly market town in Sribhumi

Ramkrishnanagar’s municipal board places the town about 47 km from Sribhumi (formerly Karimganj) and about 34 km from Son Beel, a large wetland. Locals call it “mini Shillong” for its hilly terrain. Ramkrishna Nagar College, opened in 1964, is the town’s only higher-education institution, the police station dates from 1994, and the local market serves and promotes locally grown vegetables.

A market for local vegetables, a college and a wetland nearby make a small but varied local economy. Traders, tutors and anyone offering trips to Son Beel can use a simple website to be found by people from outside the town.

How a remote project runs

I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.

    The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.
