A business town that ships across Assam
Kharupetia’s municipal board describes the town as famous as a business centre in Assam, trading fresh vegetables, fish and staples across the state and beyond, with most residents working in business. It lies on National Highway 15, about 17 km from Mangaldoi and 87 km from Guwahati; the nearest railway station is Rowta Bagan, about 29 km away. The town has a 30-bed government hospital and several colleges, including Kharupetia College.
When most of a town’s business is wholesale, buyers come from far away and deal by phone. A website gives a trader a way to show what they handle, their volumes and how orders work — and a reason for a new buyer to pick up the phone.

How a remote project runs
I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.

The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.

It can, if someone updates them regularly. Many traders prefer “rates on request” with a fast WhatsApp button.
