A small tea town with a big history
Dhekiajuli’s municipal board places the town on the north side of the Brahmaputra, 36 km west of Tezpur and 136 km east of Guwahati on National Highway 15. Twenty-two tea gardens surround it — the board calls it a “small Tea Town” — and its mix of people from across the country has earned it the name “Mini India”. In 1942, thirteen people were killed in police firing while trying to hoist the national flag at the police station. Orang National Park is about 32 km away.
Tea gardens buy services and supplies year round, and their staff and visitors need everything a town provides. Suppliers, workshops, schools and shops that serve them — and any business that wants to tell visitors to Orang where to stay or eat — benefit from being easy to find and easy to trust online.

I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.
Discovery

Layouts and an interactive prototype you open on your own phone and laptop, then comment on before anything is built.

Built on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded HTML and CSS, with on-page SEO in place and testing across phones, tablets and desktops.
Launch & support
The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.
