An old municipal town with a palace
The Gauripur Municipal Board was established in 1919 — more than a century ago. The town’s landmark is the Matiabag Palace, also known as Gauripur Rajbari; Gauripur railway station is in the Alipurduar railway division, and the town is associated with the folk singer Pratima Barua Pandey. About 25,000 people lived in the town at the 2011 Census.
Towns with this kind of cultural history usually have music schools, cultural groups and family businesses that are known by name locally but hard to find online. A website gives them a permanent, searchable home — with history, events and contact details — rather than relying on posts that disappear in a feed.

How a remote project runs
I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.

Launch & support
The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.
