Chapar, Assam

A municipal town on the Champawati

Chapar’s municipal board was established in 1989. The board places the town in Dhubri district on the bank of the Champawati river, covering 9.88 km² in 10 wards, with a population of about 20,300 at the 2011 Census.

A town of this size has a steady base of everyday businesses — shops, tutors, clinics, small manufacturers — most of which rely on word of mouth. A website doesn’t replace that; it gives people who’ve heard your name somewhere to check your hours, services and phone number without having to ask around.

How a remote project runs

I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.

    A call or WhatsApp conversation about your goals, your customers and the content you already have. Scope, timeline and price are agreed in writing.

  2. Design review

    Layouts and an interactive prototype you open on your own phone and laptop, then comment on before anything is built.

  3. Development

    Built on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded HTML and CSS, with on-page SEO in place and testing across phones, tablets and desktops.

  4. Launch & support

    The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.

What does a small website cost?

It depends on the number of pages and features. You get a written quote after a short conversation, before any work starts.

Can you also set up a Google Business Profile?

If your business has a location customers visit, you can create one in your own name — I can explain the steps and make sure the website details match.

Do you work with businesses in Assam remotely?
