A newly planned town east of Tezpur
Jamugurihat’s municipal board places the town on the north bank of the Brahmaputra, about 50 km east of Tezpur and 244 km from Guwahati, between the Kani Dekorai and Jia Bhoroli rivers. The board describes it as a newly planned town area, taking in 52 villages and more than 60 namghars and temples, with agriculture as the largest livelihood, tea cultivation significant, and the Sijusa picnic spot to the north.
A town that brings together dozens of villages needs shared places to find information — markets, clinics, schools, events. Local businesses and organisations with a simple website become that reference point.

How a remote project runs
I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.

The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.
