A market town with 1,800 trading firms
Tangla’s town committee dates from 1962, when the town was in Darrang; it is now in Udalguri district. The board counts 3,844 houses and 1,820 trading organisations in just 3.2 km², with the Naika and Nonoi rivers running through the centre. Tangla has its own railway station; National Highway 15 is about 32 km south, Dispur about 99 km and Guwahati airport about 90 km away. About 17,200 people lived in the town in 2011.
Almost one trading business for every two houses makes Tangla a market town in the full sense. Being findable online, with clear products, hours and a WhatsApp button, is one of the simplest ways to get ahead of the shop next door.

How a remote project runs
I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.
Discovery
A call or WhatsApp conversation about your goals, your customers and the content you already have. Scope, timeline and price are agreed in writing.
Design review
Layouts and an interactive prototype you open on your own phone and laptop, then comment on before anything is built.
Development
Built on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded HTML and CSS, with on-page SEO in place and testing across phones, tablets and desktops.
Launch & support
The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.
