Dima Hasao is one of Assam’s three hill districts. Its headquarters, Haflong — about 330 km south-east of Guwahati — is described by the district administration as the only proper hill station in Assam, and the district sits between the Brahmaputra and Barak valleys. The administration says its focus has been on tourism infrastructure, connectivity and promoting indigenous festivals for domestic and international visitors.
When an area is working to attract visitors, the homestays, drivers and tour operators that serve them need to be easy to find and easy to trust online. Clear photographs, honest descriptions of how to get there, what’s included and a direct way to ask questions turn a search into a booking.

How a remote project runs
I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.

Layouts and an interactive prototype you open on your own phone and laptop, then comment on before anything is built.

Built on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded HTML and CSS, with on-page SEO in place and testing across phones, tablets and desktops.
Launch & support
The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.
