A border district with Bhutan trade
Chirang has functioned as a district of the Bodoland Territorial Region since 4 June 2004, with its headquarters at Kajalgaon. The district administration notes that it shares an international border with Bhutan and that the Kalamati crossing is mostly used for shipping and business between Bhutan and India. Kajalgaon’s municipal board, formed in 2013, describes it as an industrial town about 165 km from Guwahati, next to Bongaigaon.
Cross-border trade and industry mean a lot of business-to-business dealing: transporters, suppliers, traders and agents whose customers check them out before calling. For them a website is a credibility document — what you handle, where, and how to reach you — more than a shop window.

I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.

Layouts and an interactive prototype you open on your own phone and laptop, then comment on before anything is built.

Built on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded HTML and CSS, with on-page SEO in place and testing across phones, tablets and desktops.
Launch & support
The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.

Can the site be in Bodo as well as English?
The structure can support more than one language. The Bodo text should come from you or a translator; I handle the layout.
Do you work with businesses in Assam remotely?
Yes. I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely: projects run over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review. There’s no office to visit, and every project is handled directly by me.
Can you build my website on WordPress?
Yes — custom WordPress themes, custom post types and REST API work, as well as Elementor builds. If WordPress isn’t the right fit, I’ll build the site by hand or on Shopify.
