A rail town with an industrial base
Bongaigaon became a district on 29 September 1989. It has two railway stations, Bongaigaon and New Bongaigaon, and the nearest airport is Rupsi, about 100 km away in Kokrajhar district. At the 2011 Census, both a refinery township and the New Bongaigaon railway colony were counted as census towns in the district — a sign of how much of the town works in industry and on the railway.
Railway and refinery townships often house employees posted from elsewhere, who look up schools, clinics and services online before they know anyone locally. Websites that answer those first questions clearly — fees on request, timings, location — give local businesses an early advantage.

Built on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded HTML and CSS, with on-page SEO in place and testing across phones, tablets and desktops.
Launch & support
The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.

Do you cover Abhayapuri?
Yes. Abhayapuri is the district’s other municipal town.
Can my website be found on Google Maps?
A website helps, but Maps listings come from a Google Business Profile, which you set up and verify for your own premises. I can make sure the site and your profile carry the same name, address and phone number.
Do you work with businesses in Assam remotely?
Yes. I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely: projects run over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review. There’s no office to visit, and every project is handled directly by me.
