The district at the edge of Manas
Baksa was notified as a district of the Bodoland Territorial Council in October 2003 and began functioning on 1 June 2004, with its headquarters at Mushalpur. It borders Bhutan to the north, and a major part of Manas National Park — known for tigers, greater one-horned rhinoceroses, wild water buffalo and golden langurs — lies within the district. The district’s sub-divisions are Mushalpur and Salbari; Tamulpur became a separate district in 2022.
Visitors to Manas plan ahead and book online, so for lodges, homestays, guides and drivers a website is often where the booking is won or lost. Clear photos, honest descriptions, how to get there and a quick way to enquire matter more than anything fancy.

I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.

Launch & support
The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.

Can the website take booking requests for a homestay?
Yes, through a form or WhatsApp, or by linking to a booking platform you already use. I’ll suggest the simplest option that fits.
Is Tamulpur covered here?
Tamulpur is now its own district and has its own page.
Do you work with businesses in Assam remotely?
Yes. I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely: projects run over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review. There’s no office to visit, and every project is handled directly by me.
Can you build my website on WordPress?
Yes — custom WordPress themes, custom post types and REST API work, as well as Elementor builds. If WordPress isn’t the right fit, I’ll build the site by hand or on Shopify.
