A south-bank town with a long history
The Palasbari municipal board places the town on the southern side of the Brahmaputra in Kamrup district. Its history page links the name to the Palash tree, notes the Palasarguri (Garoimari) Satra about 15 km to the west as a centre of the Neo-Vaishnavite movement, and records the area’s part in the freedom movement led locally by Chandra Prava Saikiani.
Places with this kind of history often have institutions — satras, schools, cultural trusts — that are well known locally but have almost nothing online. A clear website with history, events and contact details helps visitors, devotees and former students find them, and gives local businesses a way to be found by people coming in for those events.

I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.

The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.

Before we start
Can you build a website in Assamese as well as English?
The site can be structured for two languages. I write and edit the English; the Assamese text should come from you or a translator you trust, and I’ll lay it out properly.
We are a small trust with a tight budget. Is a simple site possible?
Yes. A focused site of a few pages is often enough. You get a quote after a short conversation about what the site has to do.
Do you work with businesses in Assam remotely?
