Kamrup, Assam
A district of craft towns and transport hubs
Kamrup district — headquartered at Amingaon and often called Kamrup Rural to tell it apart from Kamrup Metropolitan — wraps around Guwahati. Its towns include Hajo, Sualkuchi, Chhaygaon, Rangia, Palasbari, Boko and North Guwahati.
Two of them shape what a website needs to do here. The district administration describes Sualkuchi as the “Manchester of Assam” for its silk weaving, and for weavers selling beyond the town a clear product catalogue with sizes, colours and a way to order matters more than anything decorative. Rangia is an important railway junction and, according to its municipal board, a divisional headquarters of the Northeast Frontier Railway — the kind of busy town where people look a business up on their phone before they visit.

How a remote project runs
I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.
Discovery
A call or WhatsApp conversation about your goals, your customers and the content you already have. Scope, timeline and price are agreed in writing.
Design review
Layouts and an interactive prototype you open on your own phone and laptop, then comment on before anything is built.
Development
Built on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded HTML and CSS, with on-page SEO in place and testing across phones, tablets and desktops.
Launch & support
The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.

Before we start
Is this the same as the Guwahati page?
No. Guwahati city is in Kamrup Metropolitan district and has its own page. This page is for the rest of Kamrup district — Rangia, Sualkuchi, Hajo, Palasbari, North Guwahati and the villages around them.
Can you build an online store for handloom products?
Yes. I build on Shopify, which handles products, sizes and payments, or a simpler WordPress catalogue where customers send an enquiry or a WhatsApp message instead.
Do you work with businesses in Assam remotely?
Yes. I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely: projects run over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review. There’s no office to visit, and every project is handled directly by me.
Can you build my website on WordPress?
Yes — custom WordPress themes, custom post types and REST API work, as well as Elementor builds. If WordPress isn’t the right fit, I’ll build the site by hand or on Shopify.
