From farm trade to a trading centre
Lanka’s municipal board places the town about 20 km from Hojai and roughly 190 km south-east of Dispur. It is an important station on the Northeast Frontier Railway, the East–West Corridor highway runs through the town, and the board says Lanka grew from agricultural trade into “a premier trading center”. A town committee formed in 1975 became a municipality in 2007; it now covers about 839 hectares in 11 wards.
Traders on a highway and a rail line sell to buyers they rarely meet in person. A website that sets out what you deal in, your capacity and your contact details makes the first enquiry easier, and gives repeat buyers somewhere to check your current range.

How a remote project runs
I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.
Discovery
A call or WhatsApp conversation about your goals, your customers and the content you already have. Scope, timeline and price are agreed in writing.
Design review
Layouts and an interactive prototype you open on your own phone and laptop, then comment on before anything is built.
Development
Built on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded HTML and CSS, with on-page SEO in place and testing across phones, tablets and desktops.
Launch & support
The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.
