A market town with new industry
Jagiroad sits on the south bank of the Kolong river, about 55 km east of Guwahati, on National Highway 27 and the Guwahati–Lumding railway. Its dry-fish market is often described as the largest in Asia and supplies the north-eastern states. The town has fertiliser, cement-grinding and bottled-water units, and the Tata Group began building a semiconductor assembly and test facility there in 2024, on the site of the former Nagaon Paper Mill.
A wholesale market and new industry bring two kinds of customer: traders buying in bulk from across the region, and companies and workers arriving for new projects. Both look for suppliers, transport, accommodation and services online before they arrive.

How a remote project runs
I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.
Discovery

Design review
Layouts and an interactive prototype you open on your own phone and laptop, then comment on before anything is built.
Development
Built on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded HTML and CSS, with on-page SEO in place and testing across phones, tablets and desktops.
Launch & support
The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.
