A hill town and the seat of the Karbi council
Diphu is the headquarters of Karbi Anglong district and the meeting place of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council. The district administration describes Karbi Anglong as the largest district in Assam. Diphu’s municipal board places the town on a hill at about 186 m, about 270 km by road and 213 km by rail from Guwahati, with about 63,650 residents in 2011 and a population that includes Karbi, Dimasa, Garo and Bodo Kachari and Rengma Naga communities. Diphu Medical College and Hospital and Assam University’s Diphu campus are in the town, and Rongker, a Karbi festival, is among those celebrated locally.
A district headquarters with a medical college and a university campus draws students, patients and families from a very large area. Clinics, hostels, pharmacies and coaching centres are searched for constantly — and cultural events and tourism need websites that explain them properly to visitors from outside.

It can be built for more than one language. Karbi text should come from you or a translator you trust; I handle structure and layout.
