A new World Heritage site, a young district
Charaideo became a district in 2016 with its headquarters at Sonari. It borders Dibrugarh to the north-east, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh to the south and Sivasagar to the west, and the old Dhodar Ali road through Sonari links Namrup to the east with Simaluguri and Nazira to the west. Sonari and Moran are its municipal towns.
On 26 July 2024 the Moidams at Charaideo — the mound-burial system of the Ahom dynasty — were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. New attention like that usually reaches local businesses through search before it reaches them in person, so guest houses, drivers and guides are better placed if visitors can find clear information about them online.

How a remote project runs
I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.
Discovery

Design review
Layouts and an interactive prototype you open on your own phone and laptop, then comment on before anything is built.
Development
Built on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded HTML and CSS, with on-page SEO in place and testing across phones, tablets and desktops.
Launch & support
The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.

Do you cover Sonari and Moran?
Yes. Both are municipal towns in Charaideo district.
My business only has an Instagram page. Do I need a website?
Instagram is good for showing your work; a website is better for being found in search and for answering the same questions every visitor asks. Many businesses use both, with the site linking to the Instagram page.
Do you work with businesses in Assam remotely?
Yes. I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely: projects run over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review. There’s no office to visit, and every project is handled directly by me.
Can you build my website on WordPress?
Yes — custom WordPress themes, custom post types and REST API work, as well as Elementor builds. If WordPress isn’t the right fit, I’ll build the site by hand or on Shopify.
