A developing town on the Jhanji
Amguri’s municipal board describes it as a developing town in Sivasagar district, on the bank of the Jhanji river, with Borbam Tea Estate on its southern boundary and road and rail connections. The board serves more than 1,845 houses with water, waste collection, roads and street lights, and about 8,000 people lived there in 2011.
A town edged by a tea estate has a steady customer base of estate staff and families. Shops, clinics, tutors and services that can be found online — with hours and a phone number — are easier for new staff and their families to start using.
Most Amguri businesses don’t need a large site. What they need is something accurate that loads quickly on a phone: who you are, what you offer, the hours you keep, a photo of the shopfront so people recognise it, and a call or WhatsApp button. That can be built quickly and kept up to date for very little.

How a remote project runs
I’m based in Hyderabad and work remotely. There’s no office to visit — every project is handled directly by me, over WhatsApp, email and calls, with designs shared online for review.
Discovery
A call or WhatsApp conversation about your goals, your customers and the content you already have. Scope, timeline and price are agreed in writing.
Design review
Layouts and an interactive prototype you open on your own phone and laptop, then comment on before anything is built.
Development
Built on WordPress, Shopify or hand-coded HTML and CSS, with on-page SEO in place and testing across phones, tablets and desktops.
Launch & support
The site goes live and is checked once it’s running. On WordPress you can edit your own content, and ongoing monthly support is available.
